Who am I

My name is John Culjak and I'm a local jazz guitarist who is interested in promoting jazz music in the city of London Ontario Canada. I'm very excited about our local talent and I believe London has alot to offer the community with respect to jazz music and performances.

The intention of this website is to educate the city of London and the surrounding area about our local jazz artists and their music. To find information via the web has been somewhat of a challenge for most who attempt to do so. I was tired of searching for artists or pubs that would offer live jazz only to find myself online for hours realizing that only a few had taken the time to organize this information in an accessable way. So, as someone who loves jazz music I decided to throw my hat into the ring and provide another opportunity to raise interest and again educate those who want to learn and participate.

To help promote jazz music in London and the surrounding area you can advertise your next gig with me for free. In order to qualify here's what you have to do:

• Provide information regarding the name of the artist/ensemble,"where's" and "when's"...
• Submit a 200-300 word write up of your band (who they are, instrumentation, etc...).
• Picture of the ensemble/band as a whole or separately.
• Links to your website or a CD you wish to sell or promote.

This is a "jazz only" opportunity. Meaning, only jazz musicians are allowed to promote themselves for free. If you play rock, blues, classical, even fasion shows or have a broadway musical you want to promote, there are fees involved.
